Will BGMI return to India? Here’s what Krafton suggests

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been banned in India, citing security concerns. Now, it looks like BGMI could make a comeback in India, that’s what Krafton pointed out. The company has postponed some new video tutorials about BGMI in the support section, and some of them were uploaded just a few hours ago.

Krafton created a new channel on YouTube, called ‘Kraton Player Support’. The channel was created on September 29th and new videos have now been uploaded which gives a clear indication that the game will be coming soon. However, these videos are not visible on the channel, which means they are not made public to everyone, however, people can access and view the videos in the support section of the BGMI website.

The site shows that the videos have been reposted at some point. The videos are tutorials on how one can unlink an account, delete an account, report a BGMI user, and block or add friends.

As of now, Krafton has yet to give any official confirmation of the BGMI launch. But, its latest action shows that BGMI fans can still expect an early return.

The latest development comes just weeks after Gaurav Chaudhary, who is commonly known as Technician Guruji in India, announced in the 12th episode of the Weekly Tech Focus YouTube video series that BGMI could be back. later this year.

“This news is my favorite news for today. We have all been waiting for the return of BGMI India for a long time, and finally we have the day. BGMI will probably return at the end of 2022 in a new avtar,” Chaudhary said.

To recall, it was earlier reported that Krafton was changing its server location from India-Singapore to India-Malaysia. As reported by Insidesport, many players have begun to witness that specific player IDs don’t appear in in-game search results, even though these IDs show up in leaderboards. The user is seeing a migration message that says “The player you are viewing has migrated to Battlegrounds Mobile India.” The report says the data transfer prompt is similar to the one that appears during PUBG Mobile-BGMI data transfer.
