What will you play this weekend? (September 3)
The week that brought us the results of Splatoon 3‘S First Splatfest, we’ve been busy with a ton of quality game content here on Nintendo Life. September is upon us, which not only means we’re gearing up for a bunch of new titles coming to our consoles over the next few weeks, but also (as it inevitably happens). ), we started talking about everything Nintendo Directwith rumors that have been spread.
For those of you looking for something new to start September, we’ve embarked on a range of exciting titles including ANNO: Mutationem, Ooblets and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (Come on, we couldn’t make a wider trio even if we tried). Elsewhere on Nintendo Life this week, we’ve been following Pokémon Scarlet and Violet‘S confusing clues, Pokédex rating of each gameand put our tongue forward as we compiled the list The hardest game on Switch.
All of this means we’re ready for a relaxing weekend of gaming. Here’s a gallery of our writers telling us their downtime gaming plans, and we’d love to hear from you, too! Just leave us a comment below to let us know what you’re up to!

What can I say, my WiFi still does not work, which means there will be no new downloads this weekend. This being said, it gave me the opportunity to go back to my game that I’ve been sitting on for a while.
I will play more this weekend Moonlighter – a great little roguelite that I still love to this day. And while I’m in the nostalgic mood, I can just load up the DS and get on with my Professor Layton demo – I believe I’m Professor Layton and the Call of the Phantom next was my favorite game when I last played it so I’m happy to be stumped again.

Well, September seems to be a quiet month, doesn’t it? * sweat *
There’s going to be a bit of a waste in the south this weekend, so to clear things up, I’ll check ANNO: Mutationem demo on eShop. I mentioned that I was a bit into pixel art here before, and that was the big draw of ANNO for me.
But I’ll mostly give my Switch a break. My eyes have turned to Sam Barlow’s latest game, Immortal, on Xbox Game Pass. The important public opinion surrounding this has me very Curious. I didn’t know anything about it, so we were completely blind – a rarity in this day and age! I’ve also heard great things about Tinykinseems to be a combination of Paper Mario and Pikmin. That To be on the Switch, but I’ll give a brief rundown of my little Series S.

I’m in London this weekend, which means… well, that means I’ll be playing Dungeons and Dragons IN PERSON with my online D&D team for the first time in about 6 years. I’ll do my best when it’s over 13 Sentinel, though – if anyone is watching my incredibly slow progress – I don’t think I’ll get it done by the end of the week. I think I have to find a plot explainer first!
Also, I also have a 3DS with me. Maybe it’s time to replay Great lawyer or Fantasy life…?

There won’t be many games for me this weekend, but I plan to keep playing through Danganronpa: Activate Happy Havoc whenever I can. I played through the first game a few times, but never really experienced the sequels properly. However, I want to get through the first game before I start, so hopefully I can get a good part of it done before the week is over.
Elsewhere, I played a bit Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty on Series X (yes, before rumors of a new remake), so I’ll probably wait another hour if I can. I loved that game so much; it’s one of my favorite apps of all time and I can’t wait to see if it makes it to the Switch!
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
