If you come pick me up after a little while I can draw your attention to the cycling of Youtuber Safa Brian who just posted a 65mhp self-recording video On the bike. No, your eyes don’t fool you, he went 65mph on a road bike with nothing but a helmet and some lycra shorts to keep him safe.

Real name Brian “Safa” Wagner, filmmaker and cyclist has made a name for himself as one of the fastest downhill cyclists outside of the professional circuit. On his channel you’ll see him tackle downhill runs, cobbled trails, and some peaceful-looking cross-country treks, all captured in stunning detail to you can enjoy at home.

For his latest upload, Wagner heads to California to begin his descent from the Whitney Portal, a point in the middle of Sequoia National Park. and Death Valley near the state border.

His lovely ride Scott Addict RC Pro Wagner describes the descent as “a little bit more technical at the top”, before becoming “fairly flat below”. Sounds like a lovely number 6 one.m. ride for me.

When he started cycling, he quickly passed 40 mph and freewheels less than 50 mph mark. The brakes are given a light touch to lose a bit of speed going into a sharp hairpin, but overall, he’s flying.

He continued down and wind above 50 mph After less than a minute of cycling, get yourself as streamlined as possible to cut down on any potential wind resistance. Meanwhile, his long brown hair was pulled back majestically – it was a beautiful sight.

The valley opens up and the speed stays high as the video goes on. Two minutes later and Wagner is 58 mph. Exceeded the speed limit for any vehicle in the US Virgin Islands.

Fast kicks keep Wagner’s speed high as he handles tight turns on the pass. Data on the screen show his power output and revolutions per minute at which his pedals are rotating, as is his speed. Still over 40 mph.

When he hits the ground, the legs start working and the speed starts to increase. He was 55, then 56, then 57. Slowly climbing up and up. After five minutes of cycling, he topped 60 mph and breaking the speed limit in Hawaii.
