One of the best players of his generation, Neymar Jr. broke his heart during the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-final against Croatia on Friday. When having to score from the penalty spot, Croatia beat Brazil 4-2 to win the right to the semi-finals. When Brazil’s dream of winning the World Cup for the sixth time went up in smoke, Neymar Jr.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward couldn’t hold back his tears as he said goodbye to the Brazilian fans who had come in large numbers to support them at the Qatar World Cup. Some of Neymar’s teammates also tried to comfort him but failed.

Brazil will have to wait at least another four years to win that sixth title – by 2026, it will be 24 years since they last won it.
Veteran Brazilian midfielder Thiago Silvawho is playing the FIFA World Cup final in his career, admits he will have to bring his career curtain down if he doesn’t lift the trophy.
“It was difficult,” Silva said. “I’ve been through some disappointments in my life, and when we lose something important that we have as a goal, it breaks our hearts. But we have to keep our heads up and move on. continue. There is no other choice.”
