Warcraft Arclight Rumble is a new mobile Warcraft game released this year
Blizzard Entertainment has pulled back the curtain on its rumored Warcraft mobile game, revealing that it’s called Warcraft Arclight Rumble and features an “extended single-player campaign, co-op and PvP play.”
Revealed today in a new cinematic trailer that you can check out below, Warcraft Arclight Mobile is a strategy game coming to iOS and Android devices in select regions later. this year. Blizzard says it was designed from the ground up for mobile devices and is set in the Warcraft universe. As the trailer below reveals, it looks like Warcraft Arclight Rumble is an arcade game where heroes and villains from the Warcraft universe play in pubs and the like.
“In Warcraft Arclight Rumble, players will be able to collect over 60 characters from across the Warcraft universe – come to life like miniatures on adorable sculpted countertops – and win through a single-player campaign. epic with over 70 missions, tackle quests in cooperation with friends, and test their armies in player-versus-player competition,” a press release reads.
“Easy to learn yet fun to master, Warcraft Arclight Rumble will test players’ ability to effectively craft miniature armies to effectively overcome the unique challenges of each mission. Players will build forces from their collection of idols, starting with their Army Chiefs – which includes popular Warcraft characters like Warsong leader Grommash Hellscream and Archmage Jaina Proudmoore – and fill in their list with rank and file military icons and powerful Spells . ”
Blizzard says each single-player mission will present a separate, small-sized strategy puzzle to solve, and players will need to adjust their tactics in real time to overcome these challenges. In addition to the 70 missions that make up the single-player campaign, players can run through Dungeons, which offer challenges of their own.
“Additionally, players will perform cooperative activities that require multiple abilities (such as Raid) and battle opponents in PvP matches, and they will also be able to join Clans, allowing they chat with teammates, plan adventures and work towards collective rewards,” the statement read. “Players will continuously earn in-game currency to add to and upgrade their collection simply by playing the game or through purchases from the in-game store.”
