Vieira kicks at Everton fan after being harassed during pitch invasion
Footage originating in the aftermath of Everton’s meeting with Crystal Palace on Thursday has garnered widespread attention online.
Of course, Frank Lampard’s Toffees welcomed Palace to Merseyside a short time ago, knowing the three points would secure their place in the Premier League for another season.
And, when all was said and done, victory appeared precisely what the evening hosts did.
After conceding two goals in the first 45 minutes, Everton emerged in the second half looking like they were fully revived, culminating in Michael Keane quickly pulling one back.
Richarlison was next, engaging Lampard and his associates. return to level condition 15 minutes away, before a remarkable moment in not only the clash, but Everton’s entire season, came a short time later.
And it was Dominic Calvert-Lewin who proved heroic, as he swam home with a superb header, sparking chaos across the blue half of Merseyside:

Vieira stands her ground
Unfortunately, however, as the vast majority of those who flooded the pitch celebrated their survival on the flight alongside Everton players and staff, others, and one in particular, chose a different path.
Clearly wanting to make a name for himself, a loyal Toffees member was caught on camera making a lengthy gesture when confronted by Patrick Vieira, as the Crystal Palace boss tried to leave the field at Goodison Park.
Understandably angry, it was the Frenchman’s turn to kick the individual in question, who fell back onto the pitch.
The latter then stood up to try to push Vieira again, before fellow fans intervened, separating the pair and removing the Palace manager from the scene.
