As part of the Redress Design Award learning experience, the finalists virtually participated in the ‘Move to Natural’ challenge aboard the icebreaker on September 2, 2022, where they were assigned tasked with designing a solution for a renewable, 100% natural fiber product using textile waste from the icebreaker supply chain – from sheep to shirts. This year, the challenge was also extended to fashion and textile students from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, who worked with the finalists to come up with their design ideas, Diversify the strengths of teams and further educate upcoming designers about the endless possibilities of sustainable design.

The competition concluded with the Fashion Finals presentation on September 7, 2022, at ArtisTree Hong Kong, with each finalist presenting their collection to an exclusive live audience. .
