Two children died after an ATV crash in Hamilton, Ont.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on Saturday, Hamilton police responded to calls for EMS and Fire help near Miles and the Airport in the community of Binbrook.
Police said that despite lifesaving measures being taken, the children were unable to cope with their injuries in the hospital.
Hamilton paramedics confirmed to CP24 that they transported the two infants to the hospital with no vital signs. They also said they took an adult patient to the hospital in a stable condition.
Hamilton Fire Brigade Assistant Deputy Chief Ryan Coburn said the incident was a police matter and they would not comment on it.
In a tweet, Hamilton Treena Police Superintendent MacSween said the service is “deeply heartbroken by this tragic incident.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with family, friends and first responders during this difficult time,” she wrote.
