Trudeau isolating after testing positive for COVID-19 again
For the second time this year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Prime Minister, who was recently on a business trip to the US to attend the Summit of the Americas, tweeted on Monday morning that he was feeling “fine” and would be isolated in accordance with public health guidelines.
The previously fully vaccinated Trudeau tested positive in January of this year, and so did his two children.
I have tested positive for COVID-19. I will follow the guidelines of public health and isolation. I feel fine, but that’s because I took the shot. So if you haven’t, get vaccinated – and if you can, get vaccinated. Let’s protect our health care system, each other and ourselves.

Trudeau met with various world leaders while in Los Angeles for the summit, including US President Joe Biden.
White House spokesman Kevin Munoz told Bloomberg that Biden is not considered a close contact for the Prime Minister.
