Cup hunters, beware! According to Bend Studio, PlayStation titles will come to select classic games bundled with new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers.

Bend Studio announced in a tweet today that the Siphon Filter will come with trophies to obtain upon release as part of the upcoming PlayStation Plus expansion. The tweet reads “Coming from Bend Studio: Agency Information reports that Siphon Filter will include trophies when it arrives on the brand new PlayStation Plus.” The message was accompanied by a video announcing the silver trophy for an important milestone called “An explosive start”. A subsequent tweet revealed the existence of a platinum trophy for the game. That trophy was called “Excellent Work, Agent.”
With the reveal of Siphon Filter joining the ranks of games that could go platinum, expect more studios to follow suit and reveal whether their games will join the achievement system. Sony announces a bunch of games comes with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers, which include original PlayStation games like Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, IQ Intelligent Cube, and Jumping Flash, although Siphon Filter is the only app on the list confirmed to support title support.
The PlayStation Plus revamp adds two more tiers with added values like a library of downloadable games and cloud streaming across compatible PCs and devices. You can read about the difference in price and tier here. The new subscription tiers will go into effect June 13 in North America.
