Tinykin like Pikmin poses new challenges in free content update
We had a great time with Tinykin when it was released earlier this year. A strange combination of Pikmin and Paper MarioThe game has ticked a lot of our Nintendo-focused boxes on Switch, and now Splashteam developer and publisher tinyBuild have announced that more testing awaits in the Challenges Update. new.
The update is completely free and introduces new Time Attack Challenges for each region of the game. This mode will see you take on new Hornet characters in a race around tricky tracks to win some fashion items that reward the main character, Milo.
There will be two different courses to tackle in each area, and the challenges will only be available to those who have fully completed the game. The trailer above gives a pretty good idea of what the update has in store, but for more details check out the following from tinyBuild:
The Challenge Update is our gift to players who watched everything in Tinykin, but still yearn for more. After completing the main quest of the room, you will find a new pair of Hornet characters. Don’t worry, they don’t sting – they’re much more interested in racing. Challenge them on courses they have set up transistors, Sanctuary, foliage, Balnea, Amberand Celerion (one short and one long for each region), beat their gold medal count and celebrate with fashion! Also, there may be some more surprises for those who go further and complete 100% Tinykin.
Tinykin is now available to download from the Switch eShop, with the latest update completely free! If there’s ever been a good time to partake in some Pikmin X Paper Mario-inspired fun, we’d say it’s probably about time now.
