Three Women Destroy US Restaurant, Attack Employees Over $1.75 Sauce
Three women were arrested and charged with robbery and mischief.
A video showing three customers tossing a New York City restaurant in the trash and assaulting workers during a dispute over a $1.75 fee for extra sauce has gone viral on the internet.
The clip, shared initially on TikTok, shows three women hurling a metal stool, glass bottle and anything within reach at the restaurant staff. It also shows two of the women climbing over the counter and launching sauce bottles from close range. At one point, one woman even danced on the counter, while the other two continued to vandalize the restaurant.

Follow Independence, the incident took place on July 4 at Bel Fries on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Three women were arrested and charged with robbery and mischief. The restaurant’s chef Rafael Nunez said that three customers wanted more sauce for the fries, however, when the staff explained it cost $1.75, they were annoyed. “And that’s where it all started,” Nunez added.

The three women have been identified as 27-year-old Pearl Ozoria, 25-year-old Chitara Plasencia and 23-year-old Tatiyanna Johnson. According to reports, three customers destroyed computers, cash registers and other items inside the restaurant. One of the workers was also injured and was taken to the hospital.
Based on Fox NewsOzoria was even accused of punching a policeman in the face during her arrest. She is currently facing an additional charge of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing government operations and causing disorder. Two other women were also charged with possession of a weapon.

Talking to NBC4, the restaurant’s co-owner, said that six of his employees were so traumatized that they didn’t want to return to work. “They were devastated. They are afraid. One of them still doesn’t want to leave her house. She has a son. She fears for her life,” said the co-owner.
Ms Ozoria, Ms Plasencia and Ms Johnson are now scheduled to appear before the judge on Friday, July 15.
