Nothing, a London-based company led by Carl Pei, has launched its third pair of earbuds, Nothing (2), in India and other global markets. These headphones inherit the Nothing Ear (1) headset that was released earlier in 2021 and share the same design but with additional features. The updated Nothing X app now includes new features that work better with Ear (2). While the earbuds were previously sold for a limited time on e-commerce platforms, they are now available for sale in India starting March 28, 2023.

With the Nothing X app, users can create a Personal Sound Profile on their own Ear (2) headphones. To create this profile, users can take a hearing test available on the app. Based on the test results, the headphones will adjust the equalizer settings to deliver the best sound quality for the user’s specific hearing. This feature allows users to customize their audio experience and create unique sound profiles based on their auditory ID.
According to the company, Ear (2) has the most advanced noise cancellation technology. The headphones feature customizable personalized Active Noise Cancellation that adapts to the shape of the user’s ear canal. In addition, Ear (2) has an Adaptive Mode that can automatically adjust noise reduction based on its surroundings.
The Earbuds (2) are equipped with 11.6 mm dynamic drivers, as well as a custom diaphragm and a redesigned combination of polyurethane and graphene materials, which the company claims will offer improved bass. better and richer high frequencies.
