The iPhone 15 Pro series is said to have new features: Solid-state buttons, increased RAM and more
Apple is expected to unveil the next generation of iPhones, likely to be called Iphone 15 next fall. The upcoming iPhone 15 lineup is rumored to include iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone. Jeff Pus, an analyst from Haitong International Securities, in his research note has indicated that the iPhone 15 Pro models will receive some upgrade. Here are some notable changes that could be coming to the Pro models.
iPhone 15 Pro: What to Expect
As reported by MacRumors, Pu said that soon iPhone 15 Pro series will be launched with a host of new features that may include a titanium frame, solid state buttons with haptic feedback, and increased RAM.
Jeff Pu added that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models will come in two screen sizes — 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches — just like the iPhone 14 series.
He expects the Pro models to have a titanium frame and solid-state power and volume buttons with haptic feedback from two additional Taptic Engines. Moreover, the analyst predicts that the Pro models will be integrated with 8GB RAM compared to
to iPhone 14 Pro models with 6GB RAM.
The analyst believes that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will adopt a triple-layer sensor architecture for the main camera with a 48MP wide lens, currently exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, telephoto and LiDAR The sensor will remain exclusive to the Pro models.
Furthermore, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will also ditch the Lightning port in favor of a USB C port, similar to what is expected for the iPhone 15 Pro models.

The haptic buttons on the iPhone are said to be more resistant to water and eliminate moving parts that can wear out or break down over time. However, the base models– iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are still expected to incorporate mechanical buttons.
