The girl who graduated from the 8th grade who was shot on Tuesday was killed
Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a 14-year-old girl Monday night. The incident happened just before 10 p.m. near 81st Street and Villard Avenue. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the name as Tommorrow Brumfield. her 8th grade promotion from 53 Street School, her family is currently planning a funeral. “She was supposed to graduate today, now she has wings instead of a diploma,” said Akpan Blake, Tommorrow’s uncle. “My niece doesn’t deserve this.” Tommorrow’s mother describes her daughter to WISN 12 News’ Kristin Pierce as vibrant and determined. Her mother said she is the oldest of the four-year-old family and loves being with her sisters. Milwaukee police said they know who is looking but no one is in custody. “I just want justice done, but the pain takes time to heal,” said Blake, which is Milwaukee County’s 100th homicide in 2022.
