The bounty star lets you test a Mech in the post-apocalyptic Southwest
Annapurna Interactive has revealed a new shooter called Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem. The title blends mech and farming gameplay with a wild west aesthetic, and it’s due out next year.
The player controls Clementine McKinny, a bounty hunter and ex-soldier seeking to atone for her past by keeping the peace in Red Expanse, a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest. She uses her trusty mech suit to keep the bad guys out, which is customizable with different offensive and defensive components. These include different guns, a laser sword, rocket launchers, riot shields, boosters, etc.
When you don’t destroy the enemy, you take care of your house. This dilapidated garage can be upgraded with new water and feed lines, and you can grow food, raise livestock, and produce ammo for your mech.
Bounty Star will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox platforms (launching day one on Game Pass), Switch, PC and launching in 2023.
