Publisher Bushiroad has revealed a brand new action RPG, coming to Switch in Japan in 2023, with Story of Seasons and Rune Factory producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto developing the game.
reported by Everything Nintendo (via Famitsu) new game titled Sekai behind, and was featured at the 2023 Bushiroad New Year’s Eve Celebration earlier today. During that same presentation, Bushiroad founded its brand new label, Bushiroad Games, which will focus on expanding into console game publishing, while also announcing other Switch games. , such as a game based on Shojo Kageki Revue Starlight, Detailed information about shooting Macross, Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Partyand Mushoku Tensei: Unemployment Reincarnation – Tracing Memories.
We know few About Behind Sekai at the moment, aside from the pedigree of working with it — and RPG fans will recognize a few of these names. Working on the main theme of the game is legend fairy tales series composer Motoi Sakuraba, with word art Samurai Warrior 5 artist Shie Nanahara and character designer for the Rune Factory series Minako Iwasaki, who most recently worked on Rune Factory 5.
Yoshifumi Hashimoto is known as a producer for titles like Rune Factory 4 (as a writer), Tales of the Seasons: Town Trilogy, Riviera: The Promised Land on GBA as a screenwriter and Vanillaware’s Metroidvania Muramasa: Demon Sword on Wii.
Other than that, all we have to do is a trailer, a few character designs, and a ‘2023’ date. The game is also only recently confirmed for release in Japan, but we’ve seen some of the publisher’s mobile titles here in the West before — such as Live love! School Idol Festival.
