HFCL: Domestic telecommunications equipment manufacturer HFCL’s consolidated profit after tax remained unchanged at 84.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2022, according to filings. The company announced a net profit of 85.94 crore in the same period last year. Consolidated revenue from operations fell about 6% to 1,051 crore versus 1,122 crore for the September 2021 quarter, it added.

ICICI Lombard: Private non-life firm ICICI Lombard General Insurance on Tuesday reported net profit growth of 32.2% in 591 crore in September quarter, boosted by tax refund 128 crore. The company in the ICICI banking group said that excluding this tax refund, net income inched up 3.4%. In the previous quarter, the company recorded a net income of 447 crore.

Samvardhana Motherson: Sojitz Corporation on Tuesday divested a 2.83% stake in major auto parts company Samvardhana Motherson International to 825 crore through an open market transaction. According to bulk agreement data available with BSE, Sojitz Group sold off 12.8,000,000 shares, representing 2.83% of the company’s shares. Shares are liquidated at an average price of 64.53 each, take the transaction value to 825.98 crore.

Indian Polycab: Electrical wire and cable manufacturer Polycab India (PIL) on Tuesday reported 36.72% growth in consolidated profit for the September quarter in 270.45 crore. The company’s profit stands at 197.80 in the corresponding quarter of 2021-22, it said in a regulatory filing. The company’s operating revenue for the quarter under review increased 10.83% to 3,332.35 crore vs 3,006.55 crore during the previous one year period.

Jupiter Wagons: Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL) on Tuesday said it has been selected as a successful settlement applicant for Stone India Limited, which used to supply engineering products to Indian Railways. Stone India has now been cancelled. Lenders file for default after the company fails to pay its fees. Stone India will enhance JWL’s services to railways, including brake systems and other engineering products.

Green Energy KPI: KPI Green Energy on Tuesday announced consolidated net profit increased more than 72% to 21.15 crore in the September quarter mainly thanks to higher sales. The company’s consolidated net profit is 12.25 crore during the previous one-year period, a BSE filing showed. The company’s total income has increased 160.14 crore for the quarter under review from 57.69 crore in the previous year.

Adani Enterprises: Adani Corporation on Tuesday said it has agreed to acquire Air Works, one of India’s major centers for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). The Adani Group entered the aviation sector in 2019 by winning bids for six airports. In 2021, the group takes over the management of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai airports. As a result, the group handles more than 20% of passenger traffic in India.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors on Tuesday said it has received an order for 200 electric buses to be deployed in Jammu and Srinagar. The Mumbai-based auto group has won the tender for 200 floating electric buses from Jammu Smart City Ltd, it said in a statement. The automaker will supply 150 units of the 9-meter-long Starbus electric bus and 50 units of the 12-meter electric bus, it added.
