But as Colbert explained, while “all major news outfits” will broadcast the hearing live, Fox News has chose to stick with its regular primetime lineup by Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, who defend the decision by saying, “We actually do something called, you know, serving[ing] for our audience. “
“Well, that’s really good,” Colbert added. “We will hear directly from those who planned the coup. Sean can only read his tweets. ”
Both Hannity and Ingraham sent a text message to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows during the uprising begging him to call on Trump to stop the riot, while the latter fool the viewer about who was really behind the attack.
