Divers searching for World War II aircraft debris off the coast of Florida have found debris from the space shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986.
New footage released in May 2022 shows the moment it was discovered.
Challenger broke down shortly after takeoff. All seven people on board lost their lives.
Bill Nelson, Nasa administrator, said: “This discovery gives us an opportunity to pause again, to uplift the legacy of the seven pioneers we’ve lost, and to reflect on this tragedy. How it changed us.”
