Sonam Kapoor sells luxury apartment in Mumbai for Rs 32.5 billion: Report
Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who mainly spends time in London, has sold his Bandra-Kurla Complex house in Mumbai to a Delhi-based company for Rs 32.50 crore. According to a Economic Times Reportedly, the actress bought the aforementioned property in June 2015 and sold it last week, December 29.
The apartment is located in one of the most luxurious areas of Mumbai, spread over 5,533 square feet in a high end residential project. It is located on the third floor of Signature Island, Block G, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East.
According to a money control reports, a Delhi-based SMF Infrastructure company paid a stamp duty of 1.95 crores on December 29, per document accessed by a real estate company, indextap.com.
According to an old report in architecture digestThe apartment has a patio with spectacular sea views, a double-height entrance hall, concierge service, an indoor temperature-controlled swimming pool, a health club and state-of-the-art gym, a mini theater, multi-purpose gymnasium.
Along with the apartment, the new owner will also have access to four parking lots in the building.
Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja also own a luxury bungalow at Delhi’s posh Prithviraj Road and another elegant London home located at Notting Hill. After dating for a few years, the couple got married in May 2018 in Mumbai. They welcomed a son on August 20, 2022 and named him Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The actress will be appearing next in Shome Makhija’s ‘Blind‘, where she plays a visually challenged cop.
