Smash-Style Indie Brawler Slap City Unexpectedly Released on Switch eShop

Nintendo Switch is home to all kinds of brawlers – with Super Smash Bros. fee leader. If the existing product line is still not enough, Ludosity (same developer behind Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl) was released today City of Slaps.

Slap City is an indie themed platform fighter featuring characters like Ittle Dew and Ultra Fishbunjin 3000. It can be played locally and online with up to four players and features a cross-player mode with the Steam version.

In all, there are 11 characters, 34 fighting stages, 6 Slap Ball stages, and over 100 “original and remixed” songs. Modes include vs, team, smash, ranked, story, video game, crystal smash, replay and a training option.

Ludosity also mentions how all future characters, stages, and game modes will be made available for free. This book is available now for $19.99 USD (or equivalent in your region) from the Switch eShop.
