Single-player FPS action remake set in Apex Legends Universe
Free-to-play Battle Royale by Respawn Entertainment Apex Legends doesn’t always get a lot of credit in certain corners of the internet, but it really generate more than 2 billion dollars in income since its appearance in 2019.
With this in mind, Respawn seems to be developing a new solo first-person shooter adventure set in the Apex Legends universe. It again type Big news about the popularity of battle royale game.
As discovered by Dexertoone Job listings on the website Respawn to a senior system/engine designer describing the new game as “Apex Universe FPS Incubation title”. Other roles seem to list it as a “brand new Respawn single-player adventure”. It’s worth noting that this series is set in the same universe as Titanfall.
Previously, Respawn mentioned how it would work on a new single-player game, but didn’t reveal what it is – so it’s unclear at this stage if this is the same project. Apex Legends launched earlier this year on mobile and was released on Nintendo Switch last March.
