Silver rises to ₹53,429 in futures trading

With the consistent rise in silver prices, silver on Wednesday rose 283 reached 53,429 per kilogram in futures trading.

While on the Multi-Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December rose 283 or 0.53% to gain 53, 429 a kilogram in 27,502 lots.

Reports attributed the rise in silver prices to new positions being built by domestic trend-following participants. Recently, participants have extended their bets on a solid spot demand.

Meanwhile, global silver traded at 0.32% higher with an ounce of silver priced at $17.97 in New York.

On Monday, silver went up 53,330 per kg in futures trading shows gains 308 from the previous day, while on Monday it was up 651 reached 54,041 points.
