Initially, the department reported six people with gunshot injuries, however, another victim was reported after they transported themselves to AdventHealth.
Smith said the shooter is still large and their identities are still unknown.
“We are still in the preliminary stages of this investigation,” he said, “we need the community’s help on this, so please get in touch if you have any information.” .
The sound of gunfire was captured on a YouTube live stream near Wall Street. In the video, people can be seen running immediately after the shot was fired.
The video goes on to show at least two people lying on the ground, as well as security guards at the scene.
When asked about the video, Smith said he had not seen it.
“I’m not aware of this at the moment,” he said, “if you have any such videos, please contact us.”
