Sankar Muthusamy takes last place at BWF World Junior Championships | Badminton News
SANANDER (Spain): of India Sankar Muthusamy on Saturday booked his place in the U-19 men’s singles final with a direct clinical win over Thailand Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in BWF World Junior Championships.
Placed fourth in the tournament, Muthusamy showed great fitness and tactical acumen to overcome Teeraratsakul 21-13, 21-15 in the 40-minute semi-final.
He will face the winner of another semi-final between Kuo Kuan Lin of Chinese Taipei and Byung Jae Kim of South Korea in Sunday’s summit clash.
