Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 starts receiving One UI 4.1.1 based on Android 12L operating system

SAMSUNG has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy Z Fold 2. The latest update brings a two-year-old smartphone update to the latest One UI 4.1.1 version. As reported by SamMobile, the update also includes Android 12L operating system which brings many of the same functions and features as the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold4.
The Update Android 12L for Z Fold 4 brings the new taskbar that Samsung introduced with the Z Fold4 smartphone. For those who don’t know the taskbar is an application dock that allows users to multitask without leaving the current application. In addition, it allows users to open multiple applications with a simple drag and drop gesture.
The company has also rolled out the Android 12L update to the Galaxy Z Flip3 series, Galaxy Tab S8, and Tab S7 series.
According to the report, the update carries firmware version F916BXXU2HVHA and is currently rolling out in Germany. We hope the update comes to other regions soon.
Galaxy Z Fold2: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 has a foldable 7.6-inch AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone comes with a 4400mAh battery and it also supports fast charging. In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold2 has a 12MP triple rear camera setup along with a 10MP selfie camera in the display.
