On Friday, September 2, actress Salma Hayek celebrated her 56th birthday and generously gave fans a video of the festival. Hayek seems to have spent some of his day cruising on a boat while playing the song “Happy Birthday to You” by Stevie Wonder. She wore a sizzling red bikini and a clip of the moment was posted on her Instagram timeline to pay tribute to the audience.
“Happy 56th birthday to me!!! Feliz cumpleaños #56 para mi,” she captioned the fun moment, tagging the hashtag #alwaysgrateful.
The comments were filled with well wishes from other celebrities, including Zoe Saldana, Drake, Anthony Hopkins and Blake Lively. There were also quite a few people admiring her bathing suit. Hayek was asked about her lifelong workout routine and said December 2020 will People that she doesn’t really have, explaining that she doesn’t “have time to exercise,” but that she practices a form of restorative yoga.
“I worked with a woman in London who taught me how to keep my body in such a way that the muscles are activated throughout the day,” says Hayek. “So even when you brush your teeth, you’re working the muscles.
She continued, “She taught me to tone the muscles without squeezing them… You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never tense. If you are aware of your body, you will be surprised by the effect it can have.”
Hayek says she’s not “on a diet” either, but admits that she often relies on fruit juices for her mental clarity.
“Cleansing is like my meditation,” she asserts. “It made me stop, focus and think about what I was putting in my body. I’m committing to my health and hitting the reset button. “
