Round up: Dragon Quest Treasure Reviews

That’s right, since you’ve seen that by now, here’s a roundup of some of the other reviews that are doing online reviews:

team at Pocket Tactics rated it 9 out of 10 for Treasures – calling it a “great entry” in the popular series for both new and old players:

“An epic, treasure-filled adventure with that classic DQ charm, Dragon Quest Treasures embraces the world of its predecessors perfectly, while still setting itself apart. Its mechanics. unique and engaging, full of personality and charm, and most of all, it’s fun. A great entry in a popular series for players new and old.”

siliconera enjoyed my time with the game – rated it 8 out of 10, but felt a bit overwhelmed at times:

Dragon Hunting Treasure is a lot! It offers tons to do. Players have many different islands to explore, many quests to complete, and countless types of monsters to collect. It’s clearly the kind of game someone has to pick up for weeks. The downside is, it can almost be overwhelming given how many tasks fall on your to-do list. As long as you take the time (and take regular breaks to rest once you’re done digging), it’s an experience that’s manageable and sometimes even memorable.”

destroy says it would be fun to immerse yourself for hours in a game like this, giving it a score of 7.5 out of 10:

“A perfect game for long winter nights, Dragon Hunting Treasure won’t just make me pass until Square Enix can finally release Infinity zipper.”

Digital Trends gave it 3 out of 5, but I feel it has some problems:

Dragon Hunting Treasure fumbles for some key details, creating an RPG that is frustratingly tedious at times, but whose heart is always in the right place. It aims to offer a low-risk exploration to a child’s imagination, which will shine in a sometimes filthy screening pan. For younger players or even older players who still enjoyed pretending to be pirates as children and don’t mind the tedium, Erik and Mia’s adventure is a comfortable return. with the sandbox.”

twin is another site that gives it a higher score – giving it a 4 out of 5 and calling it a “fun and enjoyable” experience overall:

“Dragon Quest Treasures isn’t a perfect experience, but overall it’s a fun and engaging experience. The new ideas and mechanics it incorporates with the Dragon Quest series’ franchise are those sensible ideas, and they could prove to be important to the direction the series goes both in the main games and in what hopefully will be a strong new spin-off series for years to come. Those who are willing to endure its rough introduction, they will surely find a game worth the patience.”
