I’m always skeptical when a favorite brand tests the waters in a new category — usually, I think it’s best for brands to stick with what they know. However, when it comes to Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint, I think it’s a pretty natural next step from the brand’s current lineup. It doesn’t stray too far from the brand’s foundations — it’s packed with nourishing ingredients like tiger grass to curb redness, glycerin and hyaluronic acid for plumper skin, and emollients to hydrate. deep. Texture similar to Brand new sunscreenso it’s milky white and practically liquid.
I was immediately amazed by how well it penetrated the skin. I took this with me to an exercise class, so I don’t have any of the applied brushes or tools that I normally use for face makeup and I just use my fingers. It blends very easily. I find that even with the best makeup, you can still see that you’re wearing makeup — but this skin tone continues without a trace. I recommend this product if you want makeup-free makeup, as it brightens skin and blurs imperfections. This certainly won’t replace your fuller coverage foundation, but it did a better job than I expected of masking my dark circles (which were very prominent before application) and covering a few blemishes on my chin. I used a bit of concealer on a few areas, but for the most part, I didn’t feel like me necessary, needs it. TL; DR: I will add this to my lineup.
