The company claims that the Redmi A1+ is ‘Made in India’ and ‘Made for India’. The smartphone comes with the tagline ‘Bhi stylish, bhi safe’. Xiaomi created a small website about the upcoming phone revealing some key specifications and features of the Redmi A1+. According to the phone’s website, it will be offered in three color options – black, blue and green. The phone will have a leather-finished design.
This page shows a waterdrop notch display with thin bezels on the side. The Redmi A1+ will have a 5,000mAh battery and is said to offer a clean Android 12 experience to users. At the back, the handset will be equipped with a dual camera setup for camera duties. The company has yet to reveal any details about the camera sensor.
The upcoming Redmi A1+ could be an upgraded version of Redmi A1 Released in September this year. Redmi A1 is a low-end phone that comes with a price tag 6,499. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 processor and runs on Android 12 Go Edition. The Redmi A1 has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and comes in three color options – Black, Green and Blue. The phone is equipped with a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The screen is scratch resistant and has a maximum brightness of 400 nits. For camera duties, the phone offers an 8MP AI dual camera and there is a 5MP camera on the back. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 10watt fast charging.
