Randy Gonzalez of father-son duo Enkyboys dies aged 35
Randy Gonzalez and his little son, spinach, became famous online for its hilarious skits and renditions on TikTok. But according to TMZThe duo is called Enkyboys suffered a substantial loss on Wednesday (January 25). Randy died of colon cancer at the age of 35, every “a source of closeness to the family.”
Since the news first surfaced, Randy’s brother has confirmed the news on Instagram. He wrote, My brother may you rest in peace, I love you always and forever.
Gonzalez revealed the results of his diagnosis to fans in April 2022. At the time, he said he had received the results about six months earlier. Medical professionals gave him 2-3 years to live, but chemotherapy is said to prolong his life to 5 years.
According to family sources, Randy died in the hospice. He previously created a GoFundMe to help pay for treatments after the University of Texas allegedly died accessing the university’s cancer center because they didn’t accept his insurance.
Father in Enkyboys was hoping he would ‘beat’ cancer this year
Despite his diagnosis, the Enkyboys continue to produce content while spreading awareness about colon cancer. But as the months went on, the content slowed down leaving fans worried for Gonzalez. In response, he updated fans on his condition in November.
Randy says:
“Yes, I’m fine, we didn’t post because the last couple of months it’s been horrible for me. I barely started moving my arms and legs again. Cancer is terrible, it sucks the life out of you, makes you feel like you have nothing left to live for.”
However, Randy appeared hopeful about her diagnosis – even encouraging anyone with cancer to ‘fight’.
I said:
“You have to be strong to fight cancer and beat it. I want to be the proof of this for a year while I’m alive and when I beat it. But overall, me, my family, my wife, my kids, we’re all fine. We are in California happily, we will be back to Texas soon. Good.”
