Random: Latest Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Glitch Lets you swim in lava
It’s amazing at this point how many glitches have been discovered in Breath of the Wild. From doubling Korok Seeds to early Swordsman packaging, fans are showing no sign of running out of bonker ideas to bend and break the game.
The latest incident is a bit fun, but requires a lot of health and uniformity than recovery food. In fact, even with all of this, there’s a chance you’ll die within seconds of activating the glitch. Still, it’s a fun one to draw from, regardless!
To trigger the glitch, you’ll need to equip the One-Hit Obliterator, a powerful item that can be found via the ‘The Champion’s Ballad’ DLC. As depicted in the video below, equipping a One-Hit Obliterator while jumping from a height into lava (or really, anywhere else in the game) essentially keeps you from being drained, allows you to swim as long as your health allows.
The point here is that you will lose hearts at an amazing rate, so to spend a reasonable amount of time in the lava you will advance into the inventory screen every second to eat food. This also applies to other positions in the game; by blocking the void, the game will instead apply the damage you take from the fall at a constant rate, wiping out your health within just a second or two.
Needless to say, how long you can spend playing with this breakdown depends entirely on how much food you have and how willing you are to waste it all. It’s definitely worth a try, at least, as long as you remember to reload the previous save!
