Random: Indie developers give away free game codes until Nintendo closes the Wii U & 3DS e-Store

It’s officially 2023, and that means we’re getting closer to shutting down the Wii U and 3DS eShops. The final part of the closure will take place on March 27, 2023 and after that, you will no longer be able to purchase in-game content, download demos, recharge, or redeem download codes.

In response to this, independent developer and publisher Markanime Studios is now giving away codes “every day” for two of their Wii U games until codes can no longer be redeemed on the eShop. Two games to get included El Silla and time (Obviously, the code will belong to the person who redeemed it first).

In El Silla, you hit people on the head with a chair. And time described as a “classic action-adventure game with a classic aesthetic – where you use a time machine to switch between past, present and future on every level.
