The development team behind the GameCube and Wii Dolphin emulators have shared some surprising news – announcing that Dolphin will be “coming soon” on Valve’s Steam service in Q2 2023. list free download now.

When Dolphin launches as an early access game on the Steam Store, the team will share an article detailing the “process and features” of this particular release. Here’s what the developers had to say about the original announcement:

“Finally, we’re excited to announce our test to the world. This is a product after months of work and we look forward to getting it into the hands of users soon!”

It follows on from the same team getting the Steam Deck prior to its release last year and trying out Dolphin on the device with some exclusive titles.

Here’s a bit about this release via Steam.
