Railway employees to soon get toll-free number, app to address mental health concerns

Amid growing awareness of mental health concerns that could hold workers back, All India Railway Federation (AIRF) Secretary General Shiva Gopal Mishra said on Thursday that some Free phone calls and an app will soon be launched to address rail workers’ mental health issues. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Railways VK Tripathi said that although medicine is fine, it is important for railway workers to consider themselves the cause of stress, adding, “I believe that a railway worker’s job is very sensitive, so if he remains under any form of stress, it will definitely affect his work. We also need to consider eliminating the causes of stress in advance, for which yoga and meditation should also apply. ”
