In a new trailer promoting the Yoshi Tour, we see Yoshi’s loyal pop friend in action on the new Yoshi’s Island route And Desert Yoshi from the GBA Mario Kart: Super Circuit game.

Original article [Thu 30th Mar, 2023 09:45 BST]: Mario Kart Tour revealed that Yoshi Island – brand new course has been added Luxury Mario Kart 8 IN Volume 4 of Intensive Course Tickets — is coming to the mobile racing game. But something else caught everyone’s attention.
In the image of the new track, just behind the pipe, you can hardly recognize a racer on a kart. However, zoom in and you’ll see a little better, if it’s blurry, see who it could be. And strangely, it was Poochy driving the kart.
Fans are understandably excited about this — many of the Tour additions are often alternate costumes for characters. But Poochy will be brand new, and it will also be his Mario Kart debut. Joining with Yoshi’s island only made sense for the dog, as he made his first appearance in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island.
Of course, there’s a flip side to this: if Poochy is really playable, will he come to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? We already know that five more characters will be added via the Booster Course Pass and that Birdo was introduced with Wave 4 along with Yoshi’s Island. Wednesday Love to see Poochy playable.
