Two of the biggest open-world games of the year, Elden Ring and Pokémon Scarlet, have been turned into a fascinating entity by Frankenstein thanks to the work of a talented modder.
Modder in question walks by handle ArestameWho tweeted a trailer of their crafting dropping the Scarlet asset into the Midlands. The mod dresses Tarnished in the significantly less protective outfits of Pokémon trainers who cruise the treacherous landscape on a motorcycle-like Koraidon. The video highlights how Elden Ring would be a better game if it had Lechonks and Quaxlys roaming, though that doesn’t make it any less dangerous, as evidenced by a particularly brutal Pokémon ambush. It’s unclear if this mod will be publicly downloaded or if this video is just a proof-of-concept demo. We’ve reached out to Arestame for clarification and will update this story if we receive a response.
