Open SBI savings account anytime, anywhere online, read details here
Public Lending State Bank of India on September 3 has launched a savings account plan that can be created anytime and anywhere through the YONO online app. It also shares a detailed video on how to open a savings account.
On Twitter, SBI wrote, “You can open a #SavingsAccount with us without going to the bank. You can create a savings account ANYTIME and ANYTIME thanks to the brand new video KYC function. , which simplifies the procedure. Register now on YONO!.”
According to SBI, customers can open SBI Insta Plus Savings Bank Account through Video KYC (know your customer). It will be a paperless account and no need to visit a branch.

To open an account, only Aadhaar and PAN details – in physical form – are required.
Here are some features of the new program:
1) Customers can transfer money using NEFT, IMPS, UPI etc through YONO app or SBI Online i.e. online banking.
2) Classic Rupay card will be issued.
3) 24*7 banking access through Yono app, online banking and mobile banking.
4) SMS alert, SBI quick missed call facility available.
5) Means of transferring money via Internet Banking channel.
6) Nomination basis is required.
7) Passbook will be provided if requested by the customer.
8) For Checkbook, and No debit/document transaction or any other signature based service, the customer will have to visit a nearby branch.
The bank added that fees for all other services will be applied according to the existing service fees applicable to regular savings accounts.
