Octopath Traveler has now sold over 3 million physical and digital units

When the dust settles Nintendo Direct presentation in SeptemberSquare-Enix has revealed that Octopath Touriststhe studio’s HD-2D RPG, which has now shipped and digitally sold over 3 million copies.

It’s a major milestone for the game that originally launched on the Nintendo Switch in 2018, before arriving on PC in 2019, Google Stadia in 2020, and the Xbox platform in 2021.

Of course, in case you missed the big news, Square-Enix announced that Octopath Traveler II is currently on its way to the Nintendo Switch, slated to launch on February 24, 2023. You can check out the first trailer below for a little reminder of what’s to come.

For the first game, it’s an experience that we here at Nintendo Life wholeheartedly recommend.
