Nightingale launches early access pushed to 2023
Nightingale, the Victorian first-person survival action game, launched in early access in the first half of 2023. The game is the first from Inflexion Games, a team comprised of former Bioware developers, including including former CEO Aaron Flynn.
In one message posted to Twitter, Inflexion explained that they delayed the launch for two reasons. One, it’s porting the game to Unreal Engine 5. Two, it takes more time to make sure it’s polished and full of content before players can start testing it out. You can read Inflexion’s full message below (click image to enlarge).
Nightingale debuts in Game Awards 2021 and is a PvE survival and crafting game that can be played alone or in co-op. Jumping through portals will take players to new biomes such as deserts, swamps, and jungles. Nightingale’s appearance in this year’s Summer Game Festival is introduced Realm Cards are used to unlock new areas and affect the type of content, such as enemies and resources, they contain.
So far, Nightingale has only been confirmed to launch on PC via Steam.
