A new insight into Todd Boehly’s relentless efforts to complete his takeover of Chelsea Football Club was made available on Monday night.
The topic of the situation in the boardroom at Stamford Bridge has of course taken center stage in the headlines for some time.
This comes after Roman Abramovich was left with no choice but to find a way to sell his beloved Blues, following sanctions by the UK government following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In turn, speculation spread widely, before a clear frontrunner finally appeared in the form of the aforementioned Boehly.
American businessman is understand signed a purchase agreement on May 7, after which most assumed an official announcement would be made shortly.
And yet, up to this point, there has been no confirmation of Boehly replacing Abramovich as owner of Chelsea.

However, if the latest word coming out of the media on Monday night is anything to go by, the Blues persuaders fearing an unforeseen stumbling block to a deal need not worry. wonder.
According to a report from The Daily Telegraph’s reliable Matt Law, the ‘expectation’ remains that the change of hands at Stamford Bridge will finally be completed before the May 31 deadline begins.
Although ‘a few roadblocks’ have emerged, confidence remains on both sides of the equation that a formal takeover of Chelsea is imminent.
