New ramps from trailer zero show tweaks to the series’ signature battle
NIS America is finally bringing the Crossbell games of the Kiseki series to the West later this year. First of this duology – The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero – crossed the barrier on September 27 in North America (and September 30 in Europe), and in anticipation, the publisher shared a closer look at the game’s fight (thanks, Gematsu!).
One step further from Trail in the skyIn combat, Trails from Zero allows your characters to team up in battle to perform Combo Crafts, special attacks that utilize the two characters’ skills. The turn-based RPG developed by Falcom also features an enhanced version of the Quartz system from the Liberl games – which is only available on PSP (FC and SC) and PC (FC, SC, and 3rd) is now in the West.
Despite being the fourth game in the series, only two of Cold Steel Trail Game – III and IV, are entries eight and nine in the Kiseki series – available on Switch in North America and Europe. Zero will be the third game available on the system and its direct sequel – Trail to Azure – will be Wednesday.
Check out the new gameplay trailer above to get a feel for this classic-inspired RPG and get ready for a political conflict that threatens the very essence of Crossbell.
