Ke’yari Redding, 5, was shot by her uncle John Jackson on July 24. Police said she was sleeping on a sofa when a bullet penetrated the house and lodged in her chest and spine. and not sure if she will be able to walk again. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Ke’yari on the long and expensive road to recovery. John Jackson, a 29-year-old Milwaukee man who allegedly shot his 5-year-old niece, is expected out.
