Met Gala 2022: The most fun, outrageous looks on fashion’s biggest night – National

On Monday night, some of the biggest names in entertainment got together annual fundraising gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

This year Met Gala The theme is “Guilded Glamor” and carries a white-tie dress code, which means the prettier, the better.

Vogue said the gala asked attendees to ” embodiment of grandeur – and perhaps the dichotomy – of Gilded Age New York. ”

New York’s Gilded Age, in late 19th century, was a period of rapid growth – both financially and architecturally. Fashion at the time was also bustling – lots of fabric and ruffles, lace and bows.

And tonight’s stars don’t let you down. There is luxury and charm, and a lot of of fashion maximalism, all around. There are also plenty of amazing looks that will be talked about for days and weeks to come.
