Manchester United was charged by Football association (FA) for failing to control their players in a goalless draw with Newcastle United at the weekend, the governing body said on Tuesday.

“Manchester United FC has been charged with a breach of FA rule E20.1 following Premier League FA said in a statement.
“It is alleged that Manchester United FC failed to ensure their players proceed in an orderly manner throughout the 49th minute of this match and the club must respond until Thursday.”
United, fifth in the Premier League table with 16 points from nine games, host third-placed Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
