Lil Durk hit in the face due to an explosion during a performance and his Lollapalooza post Update says he will take a break from the stage

During a performance at Lollapalooza Chicago, Lil Durk had a very scary moment on stage when he was hit in the face by an explosive released while performing. At the time, it didn’t appear Lil Durk suffered any obvious injuries, but he did provide an update on his eye patch and confirmed that he was resting.

In a viral video of the shocking incident, Lil Durk can be seen walking across the Lollapalooza stage when two large plumes of smoke hit him in the face. After the explosion, Durk immediately paused his performance and tried to wipe his face with the white T-shirt he was wearing.

As fans took to social media to publicize their concerns, Lil Durk posted a photo and a message on Instagram about his condition. In addition to showing that his eyes were heavily bandaged due to the explosion, he also gave an update on his plans for the stage.

“Due to the incident at the Lollapalooza stage in Chicago, I am taking a break and focusing on my health. I finished the performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate you guys,” wrote Lil Durk.

This is the second incident on stage at Lollapalooza within the last week, as last weekend at Lollapalooza Miami, Kid Cudi caused a stir when he walked off stage after fans repeatedly threw things at him and booed him off the stage.
