Leeds United line up 20m to move for the young PSG player in an attempt to reshape the striker line
Leeds United are believed to have made an offer of around 20 million euros for 20-year-old Paris Saint Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo as they work to reshape their front line under Jesse Marsch.
The Yorkshire outfit survived the top flight on the dramatic final day of the season, thanks to injury-time winner Jack Harrison, and they took steps to try and make the campaign 22/23 Theirs is a bit less stressful for both them and the fan base.
Marsch has spent more than £30m on RB Salzburg pairing Brendan Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen, and looks set to spend a further £10-12m on unpopular Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca with the Spaniard. Nha is about to join Elland Road next door.
Deal done, confirmed. Leeds are set to sign Marc Roca permanently from Bayern for 12 million euros plus accessories, verbal agreement reached. ️🤝 #LUFC

Now, they can be set up to continue their activities, with Marsch interested in a deal for Kalimuendowho has spent the last two seasons on loan at RC Lens in Ligue 1. The 20-year-old has scored 12 goals in France’s top 34 appearances,
Preparing to depart
These additions, however exciting, come with a big caveat for Leeds fans. Both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips look set to leave the club this summer, robbing two of Leeds’ arguably most important players.
Phillips is expected to join Manchester City, although there is no agreement between the two clubs yet, while Raphinha could also stay in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all showing interest. However, it seems the Brazilian is holding out hope of a move to Barcelona this summer.
Against this backdrop, it looks like Leeds will need to do more business than they have so far if they are to stop the slump next season.
