Highlights of Laver Cup 2022: Roger Federer left the sport with a setback as he and Rafael Nadal lost to Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock in the Laver Cup on Saturday. It seemed like a fairy tale ending for Federer after he and his teammate Nadal won the first set with a score of 6-4 against the American pair. However, Tiafoe and Sock won the second set 7-6 (7-2) after drawing to level the score. Federer and Nadal then squandered a match point as Tiafoe and Sock locked them in a tie-break to level Team World in the match. The American double won with a score of 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 11-9. Team Europe had previously taken a 2-0 lead after Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Jack Sock and Diego Schwartzman respectively. Alex de Minaur then defeated Andy Murray to regain a spot for Team World.
