“Last Call” Dodge Challenger Honors Detroit’s Black Ghost

Now, Dodge has honored the car with a penultimate Last Call special edition. Dodge Challenger and Charger muscle cars and their V-8 engines will disappear after 2023, and Dodge is celebrating with seven limited-run special Last Call models. The Final Call model honoring the Qualls car is based on 2023 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. The familiar 6.2-liter V-8 Hellcat supercharged engine powers the car, with output rising to 807 hp, a 10 hp increase over stock.

A total of 300 units will be produced, all with Pitch Black exterior and with gator leather-style roof vinyl. The interior will feature a combination of Alcantara, leather and Dynamica suede, as well as a special dashboard badge with the word “Black Ghost”.

Other cars in the Last Call collection include Challenger Shakedown, Super Bee Charger, Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swingerand Daytona charging king. The seventh and final vehicle will be revealed at SEMA 2022 starting November 1. Order books for the cars will open later this fall.

Even if you miss out on one of the Last Call cars, all of the 2023 Challenger and Charger models will have special features that signify them as the ultimate car of their kind. While this will vary between models, all will come with a commemorative plaque under the hood that reads “Last Call,” “Designed in Auburn Hills,” and “Designed in Auburn Hills.” Assembled in Brampton”.
